"Mr. Nightingale," please cite the administrator's name and the
website here. I have no idea why you are posting this here or
what it has to do with my request for legal information. I
don't know who you are or what your strong interest in my
consumer efforts might be. It would appear that you are
opposed to the Toyota owner networking and are concerned about
what information might come from this networking.
Toyota's major engine problem, a.k.a. ENGINE OIL SLUDGE, is
well-known and well-published (see Toyota engine oil sludge
class action lawsuit or any such keyword online search). I am
certain you aren't here to dispute this fact.
I am not on trial. However, Toyota would have been had it not
chosen instead to settle the class action lawsuit in February
of this year. Perhaps you are not up on all this? It would be
helpful if you cite these things which might help Toyota owners
as they grapple with the very serious nature of the engine
problem. All Toyota owners should file online reports with the
Center for Auto Safety and the National Highway Traffic Safety
Administration. Toyota needs to receive a CERTIFIED letter
from Toyota owners in order to add to the automaker's
database. Toyota has cited this problem to be "very small" but
it has not updated the complaint number since 2002.
I would ask that you HELP auto consumers rather than hinder
them. Attacking a petition where they choose to post isn't
beneficial. Seeking to stop consumer organizers isn't prudent,
is it?
