Ticket fine, surcharges, and DRA totaling $1000??!! > Robbery. Hi all, here is how I feel about it.. A. the letter was sent to my mothers address (where I have not lived in over 15 years and have had 3 permanent address changes since) Yea, above probably only applies to me but read on... B. Per their letter "Your New York State drivers license and/or privilege of obtaining a New York State driver license will be suspended if you fail to pay...." I don't have a NY drivers license and I don't plan on getting one, so i guess i will just give up the 'privilege' of getting one and New York will lose their 'privilege' of taxing me now that I will never live in NY. Sounds like a fair deal to me! Any thoughts about the above??
