Re: Marketing/ Sales to lawyers and law firms

I think all lawyers need to know about SEO and how SEO alone can be enough to sustain a firm. Where is the first place people go when they have a question now? the internet of course. Anybody in the Law or Financial fields should have a good understanding of internet marketing. IMO, any lawyer or firm serious about their growth should take SEO seriously, because there is a cash register full of potential clients online ... but that means nothing if they can't find your website.... Think about typing San Diego Lawyer into Google and we get 200k results, maybe the top 20 will ever get an eyeball on their site and those in the top 5 positions will get 90% of the traffic. I notice most lawyers use PPC or other forms of paid advertising for their internet marketing efforts. Think about how you about searching for information.... you go to google and enter in your term and you then look in the NATURAL RESULTS for your information gathering. You don't go to the sponsored listings for information. Lawyers... learn SEO and you CAN dominate any local market. I am looking to engage a few lawyers and teach them true nitty gritty SEO so they can do it on their own site if they had the time. Most lawyers won't have the time to do their own SEO but they should know it's best practices and not get burned. Anyone want to go to school an go to the top of Google? SEO training for lawyers..... maybe so. www.semworldwide.com Levi Barker THANKS On 1/04/08, Rob wrote: > My YP advertising is outsourced.
