One of the hinges on the Werner S2210 mark 2 attic ladder I purchased sometime ago broke shortly after installation for no apparent reason... I should have done something about it sooner, but isn't something I need/use everyday... I won't let me spouse or kids use because of safety concerns...
I needed to get in the attic yesterday, noticed the other hinge appears like it is getting ready to fall apart prompting me to check online for parts... After reading about all of the issues & injuries suffered because of the cheap & defective hinge component decided to share me story also... I don't think it is right they want $20x2 of my money (plus time) to fix their design/quality problem!
