Call Michigan, you will find a non ABA J.D. degree will not get you into the Michigan bar, even with an ABA LL.M degree. In June 2004 they changed the rules and basically now you need to have met those conditions plus "relevant legal experience" If you dont have that you can not get admitted to the bar in ANY state with a non bar J.D. UNLESS your already first admitted to the Bar of California.
